Following the selection as Group of the Year at the 2011 Na Hoku Hanohano Awards, the KUmZ duo continues to strive forward in perpetuating the Hawaiian culture through music and dance with their fourth release.
The phrase “You Should Know By Now” comes from the song “Do I Love You?” but it first became familiar to them as their Kumu Robert Cazimero would always say it and write it in notes and cards. The phrase has since stuck with KUmZ as a beautiful way to say I love you to someone and to express that sentiment of love.
The CD is filled with new compositions that tell stories of their haumana, places they have visited, and experiences they have shared together. The CD also features mele that were written by the haumana of Halau I Ka Wekiu.
